Applied's ureteroscopy products have simplified ureteroscopic procedures by improving access to the urinary tract, protecting delicate ureteroscopes and reducing procedural costs.
The introduction of the virtually kink free Forté® AxP ureteral access sheath has facilitated ureteroscopy by providing a continuous working channel for the urologist during these procedures. The Forté access sheath protects the ureter, facilitates instrument passage and aids in washing out stone fragments.1 Clinically proven to reduce costs, the Forté sheath saves valuable O.R. time and eliminates the need for expensive balloon dilators.2 Furthermore, it helps to protect the urinary tract and fragile ureteroscopes from damage. Clinical studies have shown the Access Sheath to maximize longevity of scopes.3
In addition to the Forté sheath, UroWIRE® guidewires eliminate the need to use separate guidewires to access and treat urinary tract ailments. The Sureseal® adapters allow for the introduction of small instruments through the ureteroscope while keeping the surgeon dry. The Applied Ureteral Stents are easy to place and provide superior comfort for the patient.
The Applied Ureteroscopy System combines all the items needed for a successful ureteroscopy in one convenient kit. This system is part of our commitment to provide the surgeon and hospital with innovative superior products at reduced cost and maximum convenience and efficiency.
